The President of Daniel Amoateng Foundation (DANAF), Daniel Amoateng and the Joselyn Dumas Foundation has put a smile on the faces of 10 widows in the Eastern Region.
The support which was in cash and kind was to put a smile on the faces of the widows during the yelutide season. The 10 beneficiaries were drawn from two adjoining towns in the Eastern Region; Adukrom and Okyerekrom.
Explaining his reasons for donating to widows, Daniel Amoateng who is won the humanitarian GUBA award for 2015, noted that most people remember orphans and children during Christmas but turn to forget widows in the society. “This year my foundation decided to channel our philanthropic activities to these widows and put a smile on their faces. We want them to feel loved and comforted even as they go through their mourning moments”, he reiterated. Two of the widows who were incapacitated with partial stroke cried their hearts out and expressed gratitude to Pastor Amoateng, Joselyn Dumas and the two foundation
The ten widows who could not hide their joy due to the kind gesture also blessed Daniel Amoateng individually; prophesying greatness into his ministry. Earlier Daniel Amoateng and the Joselyn Dumas foundation had paid the fees of five defiled girls and had put them back into school. The kind gesture was as a result of a news item carried out by a local Akan speaking Radio Station, Atinka Fm, that the defiled girls want to go back to school but their parents were incapacitate dto pay their fees. The parents expressed excitement and gratitude to Daniel Amoateng for his kind gesture.
